Skyler Tarun studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she focused on film, comics and animation. She loves making comics, animation and other sketches and drawings. She has experience with Toonboom Harmony, Photoshop, Procreate and Final Cut Pro. She also has a background in improv and voice acts. Her animated favorites are Pantheon, From the New World, FLCL, Paranoia Agent, Kid Cosmic, Kino's Journeyand the shows of Genndy Tartakovsky and Craig McCracken.
